Hello!

My name is Kevin Finney and I have been working in the field of illustration and fine art under the name blindfish.

I was raised in southern California and have a BFA in painting.

I have done editorial and op/ed illustrations for The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Time magazine, The Orange County Register, Reason Magazine, Mother Jones, and The Cleveland Plain Dealer (to name a few).

I have shown in fine art galleries around the world, most recently in the Board A.F. show at Gallery AF in downtown Los Angeles, Gallery 30 South, and in the Codex show in Philadelphia.

I have created background paintings for the famed french animator Sylvain Chomet, creator of ā€˜The Triplets of Bellevilleā€™. These were drawn traditionally and colored digitally. I have also done storyboards for the movie War Monkeys as well as for several commercial ads.
